Squats for days


My favourite exercise are squats. You can do many variations. You can do them anywhere. The benefits of doings squats are great. There is a common misconception that squats only target the lower body (legs), while this is furthest from the truth I will explore for you. Not only does performing squats provide the perfect anabolic environment (promotes growth ,strength & endurance), but this exercise strengthens the bones, ligaments and insertions of the tendons in the body.

Minimising illness


Exercise has positive effects on preventing illness. Having good nutrition and adequate rest will also help minimise the chance of becoming sick. Research showed that moderate exercise resulted in a low risk of infection. Sedentary individuals had an average risk to infection and people with very high exercise amount and intensity had the highest risk to infection due to high training stress. Moreover, exercising in an over trained state increased the risk of becoming ill. If you are an athlete who trains very intensely it is important to take measures to minimise sickness.
