A great alternative - Outside Gyms

You don't need to go to a gym to achieve your fitness goals. There are many outside open gyms all over London that provide you with equipment for various body parts. This free alternative to packed, expensive gyms will provide you with the same and even better results.
The great thing with these equipment is that you cannot use them 'incorrectly' like in a gym and they can be used with many variations. For example a chest press machine here can be used as a bicep curling machine as I am demonstrating here.
Slow, controlled movements are important here to keep tension on the muscle and by increasing the time under tension the muscle will have no choice but to adapt to this and grow.

Metabolism
Metabolism is the process by which your body converts what you eat and drink into energy. Calories in food and drink are combined with oxygen to release energy that your body needs to function, thanks to this biochemical process. At a state of rest your body still needs energy for functions such as: Breathing, circulation of blood, adjusting hormone levels and for the growth and repair of cells. Although metabolism is linked to weight, it is rare that a slow metabolism is the cause of excess weight gain. Whilst it is true your metabolism influences your body's basic needs, how much exercise and what you eat and drink will ultimately determine your weight.
